‘CREAM’
Now in its 7th year ‘Cream’ has established itself as the premiere musical event for women and friends at CHILLOUT.
This year our biggest line up ever consists of :
MONIQUE BRUMBY and band,  The ROSIE BURGESS TRIO, The ELECTRIQE BIRDS, FREYA HANLY. SAL KIMBER  and Culminating in a mighty rock show with one of the hottest rock chicks in the country,NAT ALLISON and band.

MONIQUE BRUMBY,
The 2x ARIA award winning artist and music producer, recently released her new album ‘Skeletons polka’ to rave reviews across the land.

THE ROSIE BURGESS TRIO,
Sometimes it’s hard to fit people into boxes, and the Rosie Burgess Trio are no exception. Sliding from folk to blues to gypsy-roots and back, the trio cross more genres than state borders, giving off “more energy than an illegally sparked firecracker” [Drum Media, Sydney].
With the release of their third studio album, Leap, the trio, featuring Sam Lohs (Fruit) on stomp box drums, and Tim Bennett on bass guitar, bring Burgess’s unique brand of urban-folk to center stage in a collection of catchy harmonies and humor.

The ELETRIQUE BIRDS,  featuring Mishka Vlasak – Vocals, Fiona Wilde – Guitar, Lauren Di Salvia – Bass, Bindy Cohen – Drums .There is a new band in town, described as Art Nouveau Rock Chic “The Electrique Birds” have landed. Consisting of four talented ladeez they produce an international sound that will keep you moving to the beat.

FREYA HANLY,

Claire Bowditch said “There are few artists that would give me more pleasure to see break in this country. Her songs have depth and humour. She is blindingly talented.”

SAL KIMBER
With guitarist Jake Cole . “This is Australiana-soaked alt-country at its finest”. – ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE.

NAT ALLISON.
From the Studio to the stage, Nat Allison delivers a pitch-perfect scream, strut antics and evil guitar showboat. 2010 kicked off to an exciting start with channel seven using Nat Allison and Mike Chapman’s song called ‘Anyone For Tennis’ as their theme song for the 2010 Australian Open ad campaign.  At the same time ‘Anyone For Tennis’ was also released on iTunes (Australia) through Standard/Universal records.  Shortly after Nat was invited to London to play guitar on legendary ‘Suzi Quatro’s’ new album, which was such an honour for Nat.

More recently Nat can be seen gracing our TV screens and singing on the radio for the Victorian Country Racing TV ad.

To date Nat has played some 5000 gigs, including festivals and opening for big names such as Martha Davis and The Motels, The Screaming Jets, Jimmy Barnes, Invertigo and numerous others.

Nat also played guitar for one of Australia’s most amazing vocalists ‘Vanessa Amorosi’.  From interstate to international tours, TV performances and the video for Vanessa’s 2007 come back single ‘Kiss Your Mama’.

‘CREAM’ has become a musical institution in the ChillOut diary. This year Cream presents some of Australias’ most musically talented women, and The venue is friendly and fun, a much loved country pub, The Old Hepburn Hotel.
